Thomas Snow

HARRISON - The Thomas Snow Trio, led by pianist Tom Snow with bass player Jim Lyden and Phil Verrill on drums will play at Deertrees Theater this Friday, July 7.

Snow, considered one of Maine's outstanding jazz painists, virtually stole the show lastspecial guest Carol Jackson year when he appeared with Don Doane's Super Senior Sextet at Deertrees. An added speacial feature will be a cameo appearance by Harrison summer resident Carol Jackson.

A versatile and swingin' jazz musician, Snow is a thoughtful solist with a superb touch at the keyboard. As he mines the Great American Songbook for the bulk of his material, he doesn't just give rote performances but dresses the standards in new clothing, giving the old tunes a new freshness and life.

A native of Maine, Thomas is a graduate of Yarmouth High School and cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston. Tom has toured and performed from Canada to the Caribbean as a bandleader and accompanist.
