Our featured event: Thomas Snow in concert at the Chocolate Church
Bath, Maine–January 25, 2003

Thomas Snow

A return to the Chocolate Church! This concert venue is a wonderful space, complete with a lovely Baldwin grand and gorgeous acoustics. This is the first concert I have played at the Church since a performance with my trio and guest Herb Pomeroy on November 7, 1997. Back then, “Northern Standard Time” had just been released and Herb and I were joined by drummer Phil Verrill and bassist Josh Davis. As these new pictures reveal, the most recent show was a solo feature.Thomas Snow

I enjoy performing as a solo pianist as much as with a group. Luckily, the Chocolate Church has a great instrument and it was freshly tuned for my performance. Their Baldwin feels great…not as stiff as a brand new instrument, but certainly not beat-up or abused; it has the feel of a comfortable pair of jeans fresh from the wash!

The recurring question: “When is the next Thomas Snow CD being released?” I did get a start on a new project back in June 2002 (zoikes!) and, unfortunately, had to shelve it due to my gigging schedule. I hope to start afresh in February and have a new recording before summer, 2003. Thanks to all of you who have copies of “Northern Standard Time” and “Christmas at Mast Cove”…..new stuff is just around the corner!
